I was way too intimidated to participate much but I loved the reparte'....Ms Kitty reminded me so much of my Aunt Vivian...was probably a buttercup under all that austere......

Quinn, You did a great job of running Morning Mayham after ******** abandoned it because we weren't up to his intellectual standards. It was one of my "check every morning"destinations.

Of course I never used to hesitated to post anywhere about anything.

Now, I've kind of grown tired of the politics and religion areas and try to stay in the "fun" threads. Still love a good discussion but found that the P&R threads are less than reasonable.

Would you believe Maxwell Smart? Boy that brings back memories! (as he drew out the word "very" and added --- but _________ )  I loved that show; it was corny but had a rollicking farcical irreverence in time so needed. I can still hear the theme music as he symbolically walks through one overhead door to the next as they slam down behind him. Just had to comment as I couldn't help myself in going off thread. Sorry about that!

My first buddies at the original TBD were Monkeypants, F451 and Purplestar.  I bumped into them in the topics that interested me when I first joined. 

 

Morning Mayhem was a great group.  That's where I made a lot of friends. Then a few squabbles started showing up and it slowly fizzled away.

I should add that I wondered what became of F451.  He was from England.   Monkeypants and Purplestar are floating around Facebook.
