TBD

TBD on Ning

It's Friday.

Chucks is gone and so is his Q&A Group. As JayLee feared so are the Vibes. Since there is no Question and answer group there appears to be no check in.

So Let's do it over here. It's the start of the weekend! Time to have fun.

There is all kinds of bad news.

1. Looks like tbd is splintering.

2. After two days the TBD Stalwarts has only 7 members.

3. The Stock Market tanked yesterday.

4. The end of the world is near.

5. The Zombies are still here

Everybody check in and give me some good news.

I used to live in a very swanky upscale neighborhood that lost power every time the wind blew...even with in ground lines!
My lovely castle was built in 1905 and yes, I know, the lines are newer, but I rarely get a flicker of an outage here...unless a building implodes, which did happen in '08, and leaves not a chance of hope in hell until they take 4 days to fix the mess!
My cell phone battery died yesterday during the day....I felt so lost and disconnected from the real world. :-(
I don't recall the longest I've been without power....it seems like it was three days. I can't complain about this latest outtage...CP got on it quickly....its just that there was a lot of lines down to contend with. Last night I went over to my mother's still electrified house and took a shower and shaved in preparation for work today. So this morning, I went to work already sporting a 5 o'clock shadow. LOL! Now its three days off work again to get back into the routine.
The squirrels used to short out the transformer and leave us in the dark all the time.
The critters must of got smarter.
Last year we were without power for a week with a snow-storm. We brought in snow and put it in the frig to keep things cool.
We have a fireplace with plenty of wood.
lots of squirrels here. Arnold Swaztanagger squirrels !

We have gray squirrels here too, they get all the walnuts from our walnut trees. They are very well fed!
JayLee?
You had enough fish in your tank to feed five?
I think the squirrels are cute and funny.
I throw them peanuts.
They eat the Hickory nuts from Hickory tree, acorns from that tree, pine seeds from Pine tree,
cover on the outdoor gas grill, holes in the neighbors garage and something in his garage,
the bird seed and bird seed holders.
They entertain my cat as she watches them out the window.
There is a town near Battle Creek that only has these...no kidding!

The first time I saw black squirrels was in Niagra Falls. On the canadian side. Over the years they seem to have moved South. Maybe the Canadian Snowbirds brought them? I even saw one on the Capital grounds in Charleston, WV.
I'm still here.

Happy Halloween.

Me too darrol. I signed up, and I'm here for the duration. I'm not going anywhere!!

George and I saw a black squirrel across the street from our house just last week. It was in someone's front yard.
