ON THE ROAD AGAIN 13
We (Happy and I)are at the Escapees "Rainbow Plantation" at Summerdale Alabama. Listening to the aftermath of Alabama vs. Florida game. Alabama just beat Florida for the SEC championship and will now play in the National Championship game.
We are under a "Hard Freeze" warning tonight. Hope my propane holds out. I have light bulbs in the water compartment. That should keep my water pipeing from freezing tonight. I can hear the Canadians laughing all the way down here.
This morning I went to Mobile, Alabama and met Powergirl for breakfast. I think I saw a few small snow flakes while there. I really appreciate the fact that she took time out of her busy holiday preparations to meet me. I really enjoyed talking with her. I always thought her avatar name was to project the image of a powerful woman. Actually, she said it is because she works for a power company. She is a very attractive intelligent woman, with whom it is a lot of fun to converse. I promised her that next time through the area I will give her and the other tbders in this area a little advance warning so that maybe we can have a mini tbd meet up.
Tomorrow I will go to visit a friend that was one of my best friends while in high school. I called today and he is in the hospital in Pensacola. I visited him there on my way out to Texas. Shortly after that he was out of the hospital and back home. He has now developed a severe cough and is back in the hospital. He may ask me to not drive through the area again.(:>)
I hope to move on toward the East Coast of Florida Monday. Depends on the weather. I think there is another front on the way which will bring rain. Maybe I can run between fronts. Anyway that's it for now. I probably won't post a blog for the next few days unless something really exciting happens. Actually when driving a motorhome across country, "Dull" is the new good.
