After two days at the Lafayette/Breaux Bridge area including a great visit with my friend Kathy and her friend Mark and brother Trevor, I decided that it was time to get moving. Thursday was just another day on the road and I made it to the FamCamp at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS. This morning I went to the Seebee Base in Gulfport and got a vehicle sticker for the RV. Then back to Keesler. Hooked up the TOWD and started East. I decided to drive scenic Hwy 90 for awhile instead of immediately getting back on the Interstate. They have rebuilt the bridge across Biloxi Bay and it was fun to see sights that I last saw in 1965. I took some pictures through the windshield. I called Powergirl from a reststop after I got back on I-10. we agreed to get back in touch later this eve and try to set up a meeting. I drove on to The Plantation. It is an Escapees RV Park in Summerdale, AL.
Got set up. Walked Happy the dog, ate, and got on the computer. Exchanged messages with Pru and then Powergirl. She had tried to contact BethbytheBay and Alpal but had not heard back from them. We are to meet at an IHOP in Mobile, AL for breakfast tomorrow. I'll post the outcome. Hope the Houston Snow doesn't make it this far. Pictures included.
