There's a small part of me that leans...occasionally...to the conservative side of the spectrum. Actually, I will confess to having a bit of sympathy for the current rash of Tea Party attendees. Oh, not for the Beck the Brick followers who drool over every tear from Mr Crusty, but for the INTENT of the movement.
We've been told that there are certain institutions in this country that have simply become "Too Big To Fail." If that is TRULY the case, then - de facto - those companies… Continue
Seems I was censored again. I don't even know who erased my post, so its no big deal coming from a sophisticated you know what....... Anyway, a idea for this blog post came to my mind.
Around TBD you can talk about religion, politics, sex, dancing, whatever..but on the other hand if you say all people remind you of apes you may be censored
It is a major control thing that happens around here. I mean you can call someone crazy as a run over dog, you can call them rats,… Continue
Today I attended the funeral service for Harry. He was one of the old boys. He was a link to times gone by, and he lived in Leelanau County...."The Leelanau" was not his home.
Harry was not an book educated guy. He left school at a very young age, and went to work. It was rumored that he couldn't read or write. He joined the US Navy during WWII, and put himself in harms way to save his ship. He never said much about it, but it took 41 years before he was awarded a medal for his… Continue
Has there ever been a better example of the complete breakdown of our national government and the legislative process than the Senate health care bill that squeaked by last week? What a fiasco. Think about all of the months of committee meetings, town hall meetings turning violent and verbally abusive, spoken about ad nauseam in the 2008 Presidential campaign and this is the best we could do? It's bad enough that Senators take money from so many private interests that wind up influencing their… Continue
As we enter 2010 we leave an era of time that we would like to hope is behind us. Greater and good things in the future to come. We look to strive for world peace and bringing prosperity to our economy so that we as a nation can grow and lead our children the future generations . We have seen how our children are being abused , attacked and killed by both the very people they call family and yes even other people non related. People disappearing all in the name of monies. A nation so…Continue
May today be all you need it to be.
May the peace of God and the freshness of the Holy Spirit rest in your thoughts, rule in your dreams, and conquer all your fears.
May God manifest himself today in ways you have never experienced.
May your joys be fulfilled, your dreams be closer, and your prayers be answered.
I pray that faith enters a new height for you.
I pray that your territory is enlarged.
I pray for peace,… Continue

Tis most touching and so beautiful indeed...Hope you enjoy!

A man named Bob May, depressed and brokenhearted, stared out his drafty apartment window into the chilling December night. His 4-year-old daughter, Barbara, sat on his lap quietly sobbing.… Continue
7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
“SHE”...I find it ironic that most Christian churches are so down on unwed mothers when, at the time of Jesus’ birth, Mary and Joseph were not yet married. An unwed teenage mother to boot. Chances are, she was about 15 or 16 at the time of His… Continue
I had the opportunity on Dec.23,to play guitar and recorder songs with 30 four year olds at Perkins Elementary School in Western New York.We had a Christmas and Holiday sing-along and the looks on their faces made it so worth while. My ex-girlfriend,who's still a good friend of mine, put it all together weeks ago.I had gone to NYC to see the recorder and Baroque virtuoso Michala Petri at the Starr Theater in Lincoln Center, and was excitedly full of music apon my return.
Matt.
My brother will not be free to have a Christmas tree. He will be spending the next 3 to 4 years in Prison scrubbing floors down on his knees. Unwanted child left behind by a working mother just trying to make ends meet, he slipped through the cracks of society. Some people think everything is already meant to happen..set up by a God they say. I don't believe that that is true...How could a good God be so cruel?
A poem for the prisoners who have slipped through the cracks of society,… Continue

I always wonder why more people don't dance in the streets. Then I figured it out..Its because we are all the judge and the jury..looking for exacts, looking to keep ourselves in safe boxes where we have almighty control of everything around us every second of every day.
Dancing is our truest form of abandon and self expression outside the box... besides sex that is..That's why we keep it to a minimum inside square rooms with our carefully planned out square lives.....So...Today I am… Continue
This is a female flying spaghetti monster.....courtesy of Travis J Morgan the creator who I asked a long time ago if I could copy some of his work. He is so creative and smart...Thanks Travis.
Happy and I made it. we are in Leesburg, VA. It seems kind of strange, but we started to see snow on the ground right at the NC/VA border. By the time we got to Richmond (65 miles) the snow was pretty deep. About a foot.
I'm not sure what causes it, but as soon as you get to the North side of Richmond, people go crazy. There were drivers doing 80 weaving in and out between the 18 wheelers. There was a wreck, or someone in a snowbank at just about every Exit/Entrance. Consequently,… Continue
