I saw one migration when I was in Monterrey, California visiting my dad. Awesome sight.
I would love to have a monarch migration encounter! One of the few items on my bucket list. When I was in grade school and middle school my siblings and I collected monarch caterpillars, watched their life cycle and released them. Amazing to watch!
I encountered a monarch migration last year when we visited my daughter in S, California. Very impressive.
I've lived in this house for 40 years and never saw one until a few days ago. I thought the colors were so beautiful! The only butterflies I've every seen here are white ones so seeing that one was unique.
On their way to Mexico. I didn't see many here this year, unfortunately.
Millions of Monarch Butterflies have invaded my farm this week. They must think I am a weed, they keep flying into my face. Trying to finish planting turnips.
Relaxing.
Hanging in there..
This has been a limping year; that's for sure.
Limping along, day by day.
