Matthew 4:23 (The Message)

23-25From there he went all over Galilee. He used synagogues for meeting places and taught people the truth of God. God's kingdom was his theme—that beginning right now they were under God's government, a good government! He also healed people of their diseases and of the bad effects of their bad lives. Word got around the entire Roman province of Syria. People brought anybody with an ailment, whether mental, emotional, or physical. Jesus healed them, one and all. More and more people came, the momentum gathering. Besides those from Galilee, crowds came from the "Ten Towns" across the lake, others up from Jerusalem and Judea, still others from across the Jordan.

I have not given up on you my Lord, I know daily you heal the sick in mysterious ways. Do this also for my mother, heal her body make her well, allow her to live out her life singing your praises. Amen

Just a FYI I'm leaving a quick note I am heading up the road to minot again this week-end. They have ordered hospice for my mother. She has requested she wants to talk to us 3 kids. I celebrate for her her passing and the time being so near, but mourn for my lose prematurely. The bad part is I have looked for a best friend all my life someone who knew me inside and out, and there she was at my birth. I love you Mom.

Romans 12
A Living Sacrifice to God
1 And so, dear brothers and sisters,[a] I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.[b] 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Sometimes Lord if we want the outside to change we have to start with the inside. Help me to offer myself as a living sacrafice to you. Let me be a light for you in a dark world. Heal my heart so I can help heal others Amen

John 3:16 (The Message)

16-18"This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn't go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person's failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him.

My mother told me yesterday that the Lord is going to preform a great miracle with her health. I can only believe her because although I have only the faith of a small seed my mother has the faith of a giant mountain.

I pray Lord you will perform a great healing, we know you can raise the dead and turn water into wine. You can feed the multitude with a loaf of bread and a few fishes, I know you hear our plead our tiny offerings of great praise. You are with us always and guide us every step. Do your works in so many lives today too. Perform your great healing on our nation as well. Amen

Proverbs 4
Your Life Is at Stake
1-2 Listen, friends, to some fatherly advice; sit up and take notice so you'll know how to live.
I'm giving you good counsel;
don't let it go in one ear and out the other.

3-9 When I was a boy at my father's knee,
the pride and joy of my mother,
He would sit me down and drill me:
"Take this to heart. Do what I tell you—live!
Sell everything and buy Wisdom! Forage for Understanding!
Don't forget one word! Don't deviate an inch!
Never walk away from Wisdom—she guards your life;
love her—she keeps her eye on you.
Above all and before all, do this: Get Wisdom!
Write this at the top of your list: Get Understanding!
Throw your arms around her—believe me, you won't regret it;
never let her go—she'll make your life glorious.
She'll garland your life with grace,
she'll festoon your days with beauty."

10-15 Dear friend, take my advice;
it will add years to your life.
I'm writing out clear directions to Wisdom Way,
I'm drawing a map to Righteous Road.
I don't want you ending up in blind alleys,
or wasting time making wrong turns.
Hold tight to good advice; don't relax your grip.
Guard it well—your life is at stake!
Don't take Wicked Bypass;
don't so much as set foot on that road.
Stay clear of it; give it a wide berth.
Make a detour and be on your way.

16-17 Evil people are restless
unless they're making trouble;
They can't get a good night's sleep
unless they've made life miserable for somebody.
Perversity is their food and drink,
violence their drug of choice.

18-19 The ways of right-living people glow with light;
the longer they live, the brighter they shine.
But the road of wrongdoing gets darker and darker—
travelers can't see a thing; they fall flat on their faces.
Learn It by Heart
20-22 Dear friend, listen well to my words;
tune your ears to my voice.
Keep my message in plain view at all times.
Concentrate! Learn it by heart!
Those who discover these words live, really live;
body and soul, they're bursting with health.

23-27 Keep vigilant watch over your heart;
that's where life starts.
Don't talk out of both sides of your mouth;
avoid careless banter, white lies, and gossip.
Keep your eyes straight ahead;
ignore all sideshow distractions.
Watch your step,
and the road will stretch out smooth before you.
Look neither right nor left;
leave evil in the dust.

Lord the road is mapped out before us it is our choice to follow it. You have given us your wisdom your cousel and we must hear you to follow it. Lord help us to hear your words, to follow your steps. Be with those with needs today Lord, if it's illness, mourning, or loneliness, we need your presents felt in our lives. Amen

Psalm 23
A psalm of David.
1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,

3 he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.

4 Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death, [a]
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.

6 Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

Just returned from Bible study, I love this Psalms. I need this psalms

Lord even though it's not the shade of death, I know you are beside me. I know you have my mother held tight in your arms she will not fall or faulter. Let me Lord be a example, not an excuse not to follow you. Amen.

Glory is the Love of , Our God
Your caring and devotion to us,your children
is unmatched by any mortal man
Let us learn from You, to be righteous
May we discipline ourselves to do Your will,not ours
May the Holy Spirit ,guide us on the right path
we are but lost children, my Lord
Forgive us , we really do not know what we are doing.
The evil that surrounds us must be cast aside
the misinterpretation of what love is must be corrected
Shield us from those who would have us sin,for their pleasure
I ask You , My Heavenly Father to accept my most imperfect love.
and if it be Your will, let me share it with others that they might feel
less lonely,more comfort and understand what Your Love is.
I ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ, Our True Love

Jolene I pray that things are ok for you and mom. Hang in there. I be back Thursday
