TBD

TBD on Ning

Via internet stream you can listen to a variety of interesting music.

Google WQNA to find the stream. The show is called Fear and Loathing in Springfield and it airs 6 - 9PM CST on Sunday evenings.

It may uplift the downtrodden and down trod the uplifted. Some may faint, others may experience moments of rage and in some cases hilarity.

Starting off heavy tonight. Sounds good.
Well, I did have to turn my sound down.
First set was a batch of songs for my daughter. Thank heavens I instilled the proper values in her li'l noggin.

The lady whose show comes before mine is taking the day off tomorrow for Fourth of July festivities...I've got so much stuff gathered related to the holiday that I just might go in a couple hours early and fill in her slot for her.

Yeah, yeah - I know that sounded dirty. Giggle, smirk.

Plus, Ubu - I have the new Alejandro Escovedo album. It seriously rocks.
There will be massive feasting and fireworks at the homestead tomorrow. I may be catching bits and pieces of the show.

I still vote that your station archives the shows. Ahem.
Okay, I'm on and rolling here....Listen if you dare.
Sooo... you're doing state songs? I don't know what you've found for Washington state... we did have a campaign to make Louie, Louie the state song...it finally was named our official Rock & Roll song, but failed to dethrone the stodgy Washington, My Home as anthem.

Failing that, there's always Jimi Hendrix.
Washington was too tough this year. Just couldn't find any songs about it that impressed me. Maybe next time.

Jimi there shall be...But not until near the end of the show. Thematics, and all that. You'll see.
I can understand that. Since Ivar Haglund is no longer there to represent us, there is not a lot of choice. The covers of his 'Old Settler' are just not up to snuff.

Wait, do you have anything by Baby Gramps?
I can go get something while "Album of the Week" is playing...
This is a fly by posting. Baby Gramps? Rogue's Gallery? Doubt if I'll get to catch it. I'll just marvel at the set list when it's all over.

I did stop in earlier and heard you mention the Pixies and Pere Ubu.
I so live under this stupid rock where I have yet to try listening to any radio over the internet. But by jimminy as soon as I do it will be this show. Pinky swear.
