What do you think about the idea of solar roads?

I like the idea. But don't we know that there is a very large percentage of the population that will not admit that we have a problem with fossil fuels and they would fight any idea like this. There is also the power of the oil industry.

I figure solar roads would be hot during the day and cool at night.
