Internet Preditors

I would like to find other women that have experienced internet preditors on the dating sites.  My latest experience on a well known dating site was one of disgust.  I am in Utah and, no, I am not Mormon but am a Christian woman that put a profile on one of the well known dating sites.  I got lots of responses, mostly men with addictions and those who are married but lying about it.  One in particular stood out and in my opinion needs to be held accountable.  This guy lives in the Ogden area.  He makes contact with women who he thinks are gullible, then spins his stories.  He starts out with lying about his weight, claiming he is only a few extra pounds.  Then you look at his photos and ask him if his photos are current, which he says they are.  Next comes questions about his weight which he says he carries well.  NOT!  He appears grossly overweight and when confronted states there is only one option that he saw and that was a few extra pounds, then says he states he is only about 40 pounds overweight.  That is a out and out lie as his photos show him to be quite obese.  When pinned down he cops an attitude and says he has lost 30 pounds.  This guy is just plain very fat and a liar.  Ok, here is the cincher.  He claims he wants to meet you, and represents himself as an under pastor.  When questioned about the Bible he comes off with some very radical statements that in his view Jesus was married.  He cannot discuss the Bible Scriptures and finally admits that he does not really understand or know the Bible that well.  OK, WHAT IS HE DOING CLAIMING HE IS SOME KIND OF A PASTOR?  Well, in the end here, he backs down and changes his stories to he will be a pastor but will not be giving sermons except to youth!  Like we want our children in his hands!  By this time us gals should be well aware this guy is not only got some serious problems but he becomes agitated at being caught in his lies.  What does he do?  He blocks you, and reports to the dating site that you do not meet his sexual preference, thereby harassing him and he is hetrosexual.  The dating site then deletes your profile and blocks your IP from accessing their site.  Gals, this guy is horrible and does have a criminal record.  I have seen his mug shots.  In order to post a profile again, you have to turn your exterior modem off for a few hours then turn it back on.  That will give you a new IP and you can post another profile on the particular dating site.  There are some very good people on these dating sites, but you just have to weed through them.  I have heard horror stories on what both genders say and do also so it isn't just guys.  Moral here is those who would lie about being a pastor of sorts appear to me to be a preditor and should be reported.

I don't have any questions, but i do know liars, scallywags and ne'erdowells are all over the internet. So beware.

Thank you Mr. Stepp.  It is a process and I never agreed to meet this guy.  He got one chance and he did apologize but then pulled the "pastor" story on me.  That was it and I requested he not contact me again.  It was then that he did what he did.  He was reported to the proper agencies.

This answers both of you that wonder why I talked to him again.  He came clean with me the first lie.  He apologized and said he figured if he listed his real weight no one would talk to him....that seemed reasonable.  When he started in claiming he was a under pastor, that is when I told him not to write to me anymore because I believed he was once again lying.  That is when he got vindictive and did what he did.  I corrected it and have reported the incident.  This should answer both of your questions and reply to "Kooner and CWO3ROBBIE.  It is a weeding out process and there all of these kinds in Church too.  I just did not expect him to slander me the way he did and cause my profile to be deleted.  He has been reported to the proper agencies as I have no alternative.

Well, his name is not on this list....he did not strike me as a pedophile type.  He did not want to talk to a woman with children.....I could be wrong on that one though.  Thanks for the input.
