I hear them whisper ''here she goes, she's off with the faeries again"

Hullo there all you would be-if you could be faeries, pixies, gnomes, goblins and elves,
that like to stay and play a while in our wonderful fantasy realm, where, just like children,
we don't need any excuses to join in and simply enjoy re-visiting our childhood days.

I understand that it does us a great deal of good to take a break from our on-going
busy lives and set aside a little time to `get in touch with our inner child',
for this is where we are able to access our Alpha mind state again,
just as we used to daily, up 'til we started growing out of it around the age of ten.

My friend Tina Volk has kindly agreed to assist me with content here,
in a very similar way we did in a Discussion called `Our Get-A-Way Gazebo'
that can be found in Mary Snowden's Group called `Spirituality and Consciousness'
here on TBD.

I heartily encourage folk who would like to join in and post their pictures, comments
and/or replies when they are happy to, and above all to have fun and simply ENJOY!

Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery hand in hand,
For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand.
~William Butler Yeats, "The Stolen Child"

This is a work of fiction. All the characters in it, human and otherwise, are imaginary, excepting only certain of the fairy folk, whom it might be unwise to offend by casting doubts on their existence. Or lack thereof. ~Neil Gaiman

No.14 - Miracles bear witness to truth.
They are convincing because they arise from conviction.
Without conviction they deteriorate into magic.
which is mindless and therefore destructive; or rather, the uncreative use of mind.

No.15 - Each day could be devoted to miracles.
The purpose of time is to enable you to learn how to use time constructively.
It is thus a teaching device and a means to an end.
Time will cease when it is no longer useful in facilitating learning.

A Fairy Poem

One day whilst walking out in the wood, in a fairy ring I stood.
They came and took me away to dine and feast.
It was breath-taking to say the least.

They took me to their secret bower,
There stood an ivy covered tower. I went inside and my oh my! About a
thousand fairies were flitting by!

Fairies Dancing, Fairies sleeping. Fairies Smiling, Fairies weeping.
Fairies Frolicking, Fairies eating. Fairies sighing, Fairies Greeting.
Then the servants of queen Rosa the third, Arrived flying on an eagle-like
bird.

Their dresses yellow as saffron, emerald green, stepped aside to show the
queen!

'Come fly with me' She said to me.
We flew over the tallest tree!
Then she flew with me back to my very own bed. She stroked my hair and
kissed my head.
'Since it won't happen again treasure this night.'
And off she Flew into the night.

I can only give thanks that you find enjoyment here Tina,
and then double thanks for you contributing.

Look To This Day
"Dreams of yesterday whisper to me, visions of tomorrow beckon.
Yet it is today that I must live,
here where the current of life quickens my blood, electrifying each moment." - KALIDASA (5th Century)

Metamorphosis
All through our lives, we experience a continual process of transformation.
Visualizing the life-cycle of a butterfly can help us to accept that such change
is a natural process of life.
First imagine a larvae hatching into a caterpillar,
watch the caterpillar grow as it munches through leaves,
then spins a cocoon for itself.
After sometime you see movement in the cocoon - a butterfly is emerging.
You watch as the butterfly stretches it's wings and flutters away.
You are touched by the beauty and ingenuity of nature's changes.
