I'll start with the TV show "Deal or No Deal". Sometimes I turn on the local news a few minutes early and catch the end of this show. Where's the entertainment here? It's a frickin' COIN TOSS with contestants who were instructed to act as outrageous as possible. No skill, no talent. What's up with the phony phone call upstairs? It's just a calculation of the odds.

What's with this modern trend of dumbing down the standards in order to accommodate the underachievers? Why not raise the bar and give people the opportunity to better themselves? It's high time that those who cry foul against those who actually make an effort, get off their asses and stop waiting for somebody to hold their hands just because they'd rather sit on their asses and wait for a handout.

Next, why do we coddle criminals in the fashion that we do? Since when do their "rights" take precedence over the rights of their victims? Do criminals read their victims THEIR Miranda Rights before burglarizing, murdering, raping or robbing them? No. Criminals do not have anybody else's rights on their minds when they commit their barbaric acts. That's why criminals need to be off the streets, locked away from society with out cable tv or any of the amenities that honest, hardworking, law abiding, TAXPAYING AMERICAN CITIZENS enjoy.

It's high time that honesty, hard work, respect and accountability be taught to our children, at home and in our schools and practiced in our daily lives.

Right on TSD. That Arizona sheriff has the right idea, I think it may be Sonoma County, don't know. He makes sure that his prisoners have it tougher than our troops do. Wait, I think he's a prison warden.

Our govt. got way way too soft.

I dislike credit card companies in general, but there is one particilar thing that just really gets me going. All the perks that are offered, cash back, air miles, bonus points, whatever. Just give me a lower interest rate and forget all the crap!
