FOG, FOG, FOG

We are under a dense fog warning. What's up with that? If you are driving down the road and all at once can't see, you better slow down. Do you really need an anouncement to tell you that? If you are out in a boat and can't see your GPS,  do you think fog may have something to do with that?

During a hurricane you evacuate. What do you do during a dense fog? Make a beer run before the fog rolls in on little cat's feet?

I hate driving in fog. In Washington, the authorites won't let us drive with just fog lights on, which would help a great deal in fog. We have to use our headlights, which totally defeats the idea of being able to see in the fog because headlights just reflect the fog right back to the driver!!! Nothing in my state makes any sense at all.

We have school bus drivers running over people in the fog up here. A girl got injured by a school busat a crossing, and a 54-year-old got killed by a school bus driver, and he worked for the same district that owned the bus. The bus went around a corner in the fog and ran over the poor guy while he was crossing the street.

When I was in Florida, they made us drive with our four way flashers going.
This is plain dumb.

Once in a while we get some dense fog up my way, but its not a continuing problem. I've had deer jump out amd cross the road in front of me in heavy fog, and that might scare the bejesus out of ya!

Of equal concern in my neck of the woods is how to cope with the big Cadillacs going 43 MPH during perfect driving conditions.

My first good laugh of the day. Right after I turned the coffee pot on this morning with the pot still in the drying rack on the sink. Luckly I set the coffee pot on paper towels, so not too much coffee was running around on the counter before the light bulb over my head went off and I rushed in and shut the coffee pot off. (:>)
