Are you stocking up on neccesities so that you don't have to go anywhere if you think you have it? Anyone avoiding extra outings to public places? Have you become a germaphobic semi-hermit?
I've become a germaphobe but I'm not staying home. We have anti-bacterial hand cleaner in the kitchen and in the car. I use anti-bacterial wipes at the store for the buggy.

I have a niece who has two boys ages 10 and 8. She said that their temperature never got higher than 101 but the doctor told her if the youngest one age 5 got it he was to be sent to the hospital. He never got it.

I asked because recently went to the hospital with my husband for lab tests and there were a handful of kids with surgical masks on in the waiting room.
No, but I should be....starting with an extra case of whiskey in the cellar. And tamiflu in the med chest. And morphine, dont forget the morphine. And it's really not a joke. The thing has the possibility to become what H1N5 never did. (MotherSanity is immune-compromised, due to non rheumatoid arthritis). Cant get the shots anywhere...alll reserved for little kids.
If you get sick, start getting better, then get sick again, make a bee line to the ER. Tell em Mother Sanity sent you.
It looked like my kid got swine flu after attending a huge concert last year in NY/NJ. We wore masks for a week and sprayed everything with lysol. (Now we probably have cancer from the lysol....)

We're kind of isolated, but we still have a few cases in town. I went to the Doctor's today for a checkup which is probably the best place to catch H1N1 besides a school. I keep a hand sanitizer mini in my pocket and a hanky.
