As everyone can see, I've used a special 'avatar'/signature on all the graphics I've made for many years. I chose Altara after my first favorite sci-fi movie: Forbidden Planet. I didn't like how 'they' spelled the name of the character Ann Francis played: Altaira. I changed it to make it 'mine', when I started writing back in the late 1960's.

I really enjoy writing Blogs. I don't even need 'comments'. But I'd really love to know if ANYONE actually reads them here!! Even a one-word comment: like 'nice", etc. would do.

Today, I finished the final 'folder' in my Graphics collection. It was TV Shows. And the last subfolder was: Stargate. That reminded me that I haven't watched Stargate: Atlantis in some time. Actually, that was right after my daughter gifted me the entire series! Maybe 2-3 years ago.
So I decided it was time to rewatch it. I'm watching the two-part beginning right now. I love this series.

I just saw a posting at FB about 'local bands' in the St, Louis area. I immediately thought of the one at my high school in the mid 60's. Boy, does that take me back! I really hadn't thought about them in many years; but now I have to wonder what happened to the guys in that band.
