Sunday Afternoon Update!
Well it's 47 degrees outside, and still raining lightly. In the past hour, we've started to see fog! So if it continues to rain the next few days, all the snow should be gone, asnd maybe the flowers will have a chance to poke their heads up!
Good grief! It's 60 degrees at 10:30 today. The Bradford pears across the road are blooming and that's a sure sign spring is almost here. Sunny with very gentle breeze today. Enjoy your Sunday, everyone.
It's Boot and Umbrella Weather!
Well it's 5 AM! Did everyone turn their clocks ahead last night!
Morning Susan! How much of this stuff are you getting up there in WI????
It's been raining here all night so far we've gotten over an inch of rain, with another 1/2 - 3/4" to come!!!
Looks like this week can be called "Sloshy" as we have rain scheduled for almost every day this week, and occasional snow flake or two. And the snow is still on the ground, so we are going to see some local area flooding....
Hoping to see the sun by next week???
Cheers - AL
Good Morning Weather Friends..............
Sailspinner, Glad to hear that your back home and snuggled back into your own bed! And it sounds like your surface water table is coming back!
Seashelly, The birds will really be happy after to hang out those suet cakes. Just watch out for those pesky squirrels, as they really like them also!
For Sat, it's in the mid 40's already and misting and overcast with some rain due this afternoon. Will most likely be the same for Sun, and Mon!
So the snow maybe gone by Mon / Tues. and maybe the plants will start to pop their heads up????
Cheers! - AL
Hello Sailspinner! Glad to see you are back home, I so agree with you on having your own bed to sleep in. Missed you while you were away. Happy to hear your water levels have come up. It is dry here! Hopefully we get some decent rainfall soon. It is sunny and bright, I just was outside putting suet cakes out for the birds....it is nice out...and no winds!!!
Hope everyone can have a nice day!
Good morning, friends. Back in GA as of late yesterday & it's good to sleep in my own bed again. Sunny here and should be dry for a few days. Bad storms while I was away and water table must be up because our slough is wet again. A good sign, I think. Hope everyone has a good weekend.
Hi Al, we have quiet weather here too. Saturday is going to be 45 and even better for Sunday a high of 54!! Yay :) Showers coming Sunday evening, nothing to heavy. Are you suppose to get a lot of rain in IL?? Monday is going back to the 30's. We best better enjoy the next few days!
Cheers to you Al!
Morning Seashelly!!!
On the weather front, it's as quiet as it can bee! The weather folks almost look like they are sleeping while doing the weather forecast!!!! - LOL!
So, our upcoming days we're looking at the 40's and 50's. Rain this weekend for Sat, Sun, Mon. Then back to snow???
Cheers!!!
AL
Good Morning Friends!
Sunny and 31, was 26 when I woke up, so luckily the sun is warming things up. Suppose to be around 42 today with abundant sunshine.
I hope everyone has a nice day and weekend!
