Hello and Good Afternoon on this chilly Saturday.  Only 31 at 4 pm. Very damp outside, have a fire going right now.  I can not believe that my hubby used the blow torch to start the fire.  Not to smart.  We have had rain and snow over the past 24 hours.  Did not get much accumulation of snow.  One of my crocus has a purple flower and daffodils are coming up. 

Sailspinner and Chief, you both are so lucky to have had the warm weather. Those 70's sounds wonderful!

Spring temps will not be here next week :(  Looks like it will be upper 30's most of the week. YUCK....totally bummed out!

What a difference a year makes, we were in the upper 70's and low 80's last March. Such a huge diffference!

Good evening Chief! Yes, this weather is "Nuts"

Today was in the 30's, with marginal sun. Then sun, rain, sun, etc.... Looks like it will be like that for the next few days! Must be nice to have warm weather!!! A Yr ago today, we were in the low 80's.... Wonder what I did to upset Mother Nature!!!

Sailspinner, 70 degrees, must be nice!!! I'm still burning firewood! LOL!!

At least you will be ahead of the spring Weed Season... LOL! Not just take it easy. We do not need any group members layed up this early in the spring season!!!

70 degrees at 7 pm.  Worked outside raking leaves out of the garden and pulling weeds.  Probably will be sore tomorrow so I'll only brush & wash the dog.  By Sun. we may hit 80 - and spring isn't until late next week  - but I'll take this anyway.

Welcome Back Chief! - We Missed You!!!!!

Was afraid you were stuck under a snow bank out there in KC!!!!!

Not much has changed since you were gone! It's been a roller coaster. 40/50 one day and then snow for 2-3 days.......... Don't know where the ground hog is this yr. I hope they run  'Punxsutawney Phil'  out of town as he Predicts Early Spring. Ya, Right!!

And our daily temps are running 10 - 15 degrees below normal for this time of year!!!

Settled in, caught up, and I've repeated "It's SO good to be home" so often that my husband has begun to mock me.  But it is!  Our lake is still just under half a foot below full pool but, given the drought last year, that's pretty good.

So Sailspinner, are you settled back in, now that you are home??

Everyone is watching the local streams, marshes, bogs, etc. with bated breath in hopes the water levels are going to stay up this yr! Only time will tell!

The thermometer says 62 but the wind has come up so it feels colder.  At least the sun is shining.  By Fri. we should hit 70 & stay there daytime for the next week.  Time to plant seeds! When I went to town today our slough still has water so I'm hoping the water table is back where it belongs after last week's storm.

Ya, the days are running in the 30's with an occasional 40 thrown in! Temps are running 10-15 degrees below normal! Uck!!!

The garden nurserys have pushed back plant deliver till the 1st wk of April, may end up going back even further............

sunny and 64 amazing warm degrees, unreal for March 10.  Have the window's open and hear all kinds of motorcylces going by!
