Cold day again, 35 and cloudy.  The winds are starting to pick up here.  We were in a Winter Storm Watch yesterday.  So now we are sitting pretty good, will have snow showers so NBD for NW Ohio. 

Been enjoying the race, my two favorite guys are in 4th and 7th place.  The weather in Southern CA. is perfect it is in the mid 70's.  I so wish I could be there watching the race.  Goin to get back watchin the race.  Enjoy watchin the race all u NASCAR FANS!

Sounds like you had the perfect spring time storm! A long period of soaking rain overnight, no damaging winds and mild temperatures........... Sounds like you need to get some soundproof ear muffs for the pooch!!! Or soundproof your bedroom!!! - LOL!

Ya, it's a bummer up hear in N  IL. Mother Nature can't make up here mind what shee wants to do!!! Several storms are headed our way, the GOOD NEWS is they are headed way south of us. We may see an inch or two out of it. However,  Springfield, IL is looking at 10" of the stuff, and they don't know what a snow plow is!

Took the day off! Have logs on the fire, and watching the beginning of the NASCAR race!

So I'm looking forward to Wednesday, as the nasty weather will be past us! ( I Hope!!!)

Terrific storms all night last night.  Not much wind but the sky grumbled, light flashed, rain poured, and the dog shivered and panted hard enough to shake the bed all night long.  Just cloudy today, temp to drop for tomorrow - but nothing like you guys in MO, IL, & OH are having.  Stay warm.

Morning Chief!

WoW! Sounds like you dodgegd another bullet!!!!  We have no snow as yet! We're looking at some lite snow today. Your storm is to hit us "Monday" the good new for us here is it's going to be south of us! We might see an inch or two out of it! Where Springfield IL may be looking at 10" or more in the next 24 hrs. Then there is some talk about more snow on Tuesday................

So much for spring! Local farmers are not looking at getting out into the fields for another 4 wks or so! The ground is frozen and needs to thaw, once it thaws, it has to dry out. Then the ground has to come up to temperature so the seeds will grow! So it looks like the "Planting" season for the farmers is a way off this yr!

I am looking forward to opening the windows, and hearing my wind chimes along with the birds singing.  Just hope it will warm up soon!

HI AL!  Have to be in good spirits...I try my best to stay positive and upbeat....I have always been a cheerful and fun loving gal!  

The wind's are around 26 mph coming out of the WSW.  Going to be some time before I can plant anything..darn it.  Sun is still shining here.  Glad to hear Al, that the sun decided to come out in your neighborhood.  I forgot to tell you that I have hostas coming up, I think it's a bit early for those plants to be coming up.

Afternoon Seashelly,

Glad to see you are in such great spirits today!

Finally, this afternoon the sun has come out in all it's glory and I feel warmer, until I step outside. Still have winds gusting up to 40 MPH. Burrrrrr.

Will spend the afternoon inside, maybe a nap or too. Just wish the weather would warm up a tad!!!!

Good Morning...Well have taken out the trash cans...WHEW! Yep--another cold one here in OH! It is 25 with a wind chill of 11...brrrr!  I should not complain about the cold after hearing the east coast is once again getting belted with a foot of snow. I feel sorry for those people, they can not seem to get a break...from digging out.

Morning Sailspinner!  I saw the storms that were moving through your state last night..on the TWC.  I thought of you and prayed that you would be ok. I hope you had no damage from the storm. Glad to hear you have the sunshine and the computer is better. (Happy you are on-line)! So right on how the SUN helps lift your SPIRITS!!  I am having better luck with my Safari browser.  That is what I am using now for Yahoo.  Seems to working better for me...hope it continues.  Thanks for the info on IE.  Wish you the Good luck too!!!

Morning GrandPaGardener!  Sorry to hear the winds kept you up all night long. I bet a nap will be in store for you today. Winds are howling here this morning.   The sun is out right now...hope it will stay sunny today!
