Good Evening and Happy Easter Monday!

I think Mother Nature is playing an April Fool on us. After a few days of 50's, we are having a COLD day is around 32 at 9 pm. Going to warm as the week goes on. We had some light rain on Sunday morning for about an hour. The next chance of rain is on Sunday. Spring warmth please come back! lol

Good Afternoon Gang!

Well, it's back to being "Cold" here in N IL. Temps in the upper 30's during the day, and teens tonight! Same for Tuesday! However, Wed and the rest of the week will be in the low 50's and 30's overnight!

The one thing this is missing from the 7 day forecast, is the mention of any precipitation! So, here we go again!

It is nice to hear that some member of our group are experiencing warmer weather rain!

Stormed all night last night (more rain, yay!) and today is sunny and 75 at noon.  Dogwood exploded overnight and is glorious.  It's spring for sure.

79 degrees!  We're looking for rain late this afternoon but, in the meantime, it's a lovely day.  I hung the hummingbird feeder today - hope I'm not late.  A sparrow has built a nest in rolled up plastic of our screen room on the deck and I think maybe her babies have hatched.  Spring is here!

Sunny and 71 degrees.  Going to work in the flower part of the garden today.  Lots of perennials and weeds.  Hope I can tell the difference. lol

Super Bright and Sunny Day! 50 right now at 12 pm. Will se 57 today, who know's maybe even warmer. Sunglass weather today! Woo HOOO!

Morning Sailspinner, Yes, isn't the weather wonderful! Would you believe it's a balmy 44 degrees here in N IL this morning on it's way to 50??? Anyhow I will not complain. Only thing is, I can't find my sun glasses............. LOL!!!

Seashelly, It looks like all the kids will be over for the weekend, so can't make a mess around here this weekend. Will have to wait till next week!!! Now, where are my shorts???? - LOL!

I am going to try and plant a tomato in the pot, instead of in the ground.  The tomato did not do good last year. Did not have much luck with my green pepper. I am looking forward to buying the vegetables and planting them.  Happy Planting, Sailspinner! Wish you much success with your vegetable garden...and have fun!

Our weather is 36 and sunny. Tomorrow will do some work out in the yard, since Saturday we will be in Michigan.  Would be nice to do the yard work on Saturday with the 56 degree day. But we have Easter, with my In-Law's.

Yesterday I went to town and, despite resolutions, bought more seeds.  I'll pot tomato, cucumber, kale, and squash seeds today when the temp gets into the 60s. I did resist the chicks.  Sim os shining and 59 degrees at 9 a.m.  I did notice the slough still is full and another holding pond has sprung up so I think our water table must be back where it belongs.
