Hi Sailspinner................
Yes, CO is having one hell of a spring time storm! However, once it stops snowing, the temps will probably rise, and all the snow will be gone in a day or two! Typical for CO!
Our day time temps as of late have been basically OK! It's the overnight temps that are driving us crazy when it dips down to 17, 24, 30, Etc. and it doesn't look any better for the next 4 days, and we are talking SNOW on Friday!
Our local GC has received over 25 large carts of flowers, and they are basically keeping them under wraps due to the inclement weather. Then this coming Thrs, they are going to receive another shipment, with SNOW flurries on Friday!
Wish we could have some of those southern breezes blow up this way!! - LOL!

Heard from a friend in CO, southwest of Denver, this morning - she says it's 14 degrees & she thinks it's snowing but the wind is so strong she's not sure. Here in GA it's 82, the dogwood is blooming, and we're looking at rain for Thurs. Joys of living in the south.
Hi Chief!
Well your not alone! Have friends out in CO and are experiencing a spring snow storm that has caused wet, icy, snowy conditions on the roads during the morning commute Tuesday. Denver has received over 6" of snow early this morning, and front range communities are experiencing blowing and drifting snow!
As for our area, it was 40 degrees overnight and now it's up to 57 Degrees. But will be back down into the high 30's tonight! The following 4 days, the overnight temps will be in the 30's................
So, so much for Spring!!!
LOL - AL
Evening Chief!
Our weather is all over the map! Our overnight temps starting Thrs night will be down to 28 degrees with rain / snow! With Fri, Sat, and Sun overnight temps also being around or below freezing. I'm not a happy camper!!!!

Today has been a mild here. We have had lots of sunshine and is 56. Spring Allergies have been bothering me :( Have been taking Claritin....but my eyes still feel itchy and watery. It is helping my sneezing and runny nose.
Hope everyone else is not being bothered by these darn Allergies!
Hello Sailspinner, Chief,
It's been a wild day to say the least! Although the thermometer reads 65 degrees outside, it feels more like the 40's. The sun has disappeared, the wind has really picked up big time, and it feels like a cold fall or winter day outside!
Shivering in N IL - AL
Wow, Chief, talk about crazy. It's only 44 here in GA at 8. We'll hit 70 today and 80 tomorrow, if predictions hold. It's so foggy we can't see more than 50 feet but the woods is full of blooming dogwood and it's gorgeous - ghostly but pretty. Rain expected later next week so I guess I'd better do the yard work while I can.
Winter temperatures are sticking around way to long. It is 28 and sunny. It looks like today will be in the low 40's. Tulips and crocus are blooming however my daffodils are not flowering yet. Looking into next week, Tues. and Wed. we will get rain. Chance of T-Storms for Thursday. By mid-week it will be 66, that will feel much more like Spring!
AL, we did not get any snow showers. It seems like Winter is sure hanging around your neck of the woods. I thought it was cold here, but your really having a frigid morning in IL.
Happy April - Not!!
WoW! Would you believe it was 19 degrees this morning!!! Left the jeep out last night, and it looks like a white velvet fuzz this morning! Yuck! Then the in-laws in OH were getting snow flakes this AM
Sailspinner, glad to hear that you are getting your "April" showers, they will bring your May flowers!!
Seashelly, Glad to hear your also getting your Spring Flowers! By the way, did you get any snow showers this morning.....
AL
GA is on a cooler trend too. We'll hit 70 today but by Wed. our high will be low 50s.Now that's a roller coaster. Rain again on Thurs. The lake is at normal pool but more rain now can't hurt and may be the reserve we need for the dry part of summer later on. Sunny today.
