Hi Chief!!
Well,,,, Looks like summer is finally here!
Our temps are back to typical summer temps. Looks like this week will be in the high 90's with no rain in sight. They "think" we might get rain this weekend, but believe me, we will not!
Hope all is well with you these days.............
AL
Half way through July already, Chief, and GA is still in monsoon mode. I see two dry days in a row this week so I'll go to town because next week looks like rain every day. Our dirt road is in bad shape but the county won't grade until the rain stops. At least our drought is broken and my garden is lush. Hope everyone is doing ok. Not much activity in this group so I assume everyone is busy with summer stuff.
Sailspinner, Seashelly, hope you folks get a chance to dry out this week!!
All I can say is Quack, Quack!
Glad to get out of the sate of IL. Tired of hearing about all the political problem, and lousy weather!!
Looks like the weather here in WI will be sunny and in the mid to high 80's for the week!!! Damm, forgot the sun screen. Come to think about it, don't even know where it is!!! - LOL!

Hi Sailspinner and GrandPaGardener!! Have missed you guys, while I was away. It seems like here lately I have been out of town a lot. Not complaining about that! LOL.
Sailspinner, I hope the new tropical storm will not bring you a ton of rain. I have seen on the news how much rain you have been getting. We have a flash flood watch now and severe t-storm watch. I am starting get duck feet too, lol. Good luck on your trip, hope your road dries up soon.
GrandPaGardener, Have fun at the car show! Nice to hear your day will be not rainy. Ohio is sick of the rain. Here comes the rumbles of thunder!
Have fun in WI, Al. We got more rain last night and more forecast for today so we cancelled our planned trip to town today & will wait for our dirt road to dry out. That may take a while because rain is forecast for the next several days. Nothing we really need so another week won't make any difference. A big freezer is our saving grace out here in the boonies. I think my feet are beginning to web.lol
Hi SeaShelly!
Glad to hear you escaped the bad stuff and was able to stay dry!!! - LOL!
Yup, gutters are clean as a wissle...... Now they have cancelled the rain for today and the rest of the week!
Now I'm off to Iola WI for a big car show! Will be back Sunday night. Should be lots of Sun, Fun, Dust, and Rust!
Cheers! - AL
It is super muggy and 86 and partly cloudy. Today will the rain maker will shut off! Will acutually have 7 days of no rain and sunshine. In 48 hours we had 1.70 inches of rain. Sorry to hear Al, you have had a rainy weekend. You were lucky your house was not flooded. Yep, the weekend was kind of a washout. At least we had an awning to keep dry. We missed out on the bad storms. Just had the heavy rain to deal with.
Hope you had a easy time with cleaning out your gutters, GrandPaGardener.
Hi Sailspinner,
Glad to hear that you only received a few sprinkles. Hope you get a chance to dry out!
All I can say is Quack, Quack! I'm beginning to feel like a duck!
Looks like a lot of us will be seeing rain again for a couple more days!
Need to get up on the roof today, and unclog one of the gutters.......... Not a fun job!
Cheers! - AL
We thought yesterday we might have a day without rain but about 9 last night it began to sprinkle. Didn't amount to much. The last of the company left yesterday so it's very quiet.
Well, the weather folks blew it again!
Early this AM they were talking about possible showers on and off today! With heavy rains Tuesday! It started raining while I was out for Breakfast, then on the way home, it just opened up! So much rain, that the water was running down the siding, and over the windows........... Lucky, no water in the house.
When it was over, we got over 4" of rain!! So Seashelly, look out! It's coming your way!
Cheers! - AL
