We were in Cam Rahn Bay, a mile away from 5000 nurses.
They wouldn’t let us go any closer. We got our binoculars and spotted a nurse.
One of my guys said that he was going to shoot himself in the foot so he could go get medical attention.
I told him if he did I was going to stuff an old greasy rag in the hole and make him catch the enemy sniper that was sneaking around their Air Force base.

Swelling in my eye is practically gone d's g, but neck and face are still swollen. They gave me a 2 1/2 day break from the air to let things settle down, but today they are back at it.
