Well, that's exactly what I was thinking, TBDGP, but I read the article on the link Ubu was so kind to provide us & the author commented about being a 2nd grader in 1968, and that would about be me. Maybe we just didn't have Big Chief tablets in Tuskegee, Alabama. How about you, Quinn? Did it ring a bell after you saw the link? Are you much younger than us? From around what parts was you raised up?
I usually get along well w/people, and don't usually let other people get to me & blow my serenity. But, boy... this tenant & I.... we're like Mrs. Pennybacker (can't remember her name exactly right now) & the dog (can't remember his name right now, either.... is this what they call "seeing red"? I can't even think straight!) anyway the dog & cat in our Neverending Story. Until the cat offed herself in the garbage disposal earlier today. That is NOT going to be me, I guarantee you. If anyone's getting offed down the garbage disposal it will be the other person. Hey - there's an idea. We have opposite chemistry. There's a bi-polar magnetic field when we're in the same room. Same house. Same property. Same neighborhood. Same town. I want him out of my town! May I just rant for a moment? Yes! I can! THIS is the Ranting thread! He is a passive-aggressive, mean-spirited, nasty piece of work & I want him out of my home. Now. whew. I feel much better now. ty. (he actually has until June 15 to leave unless I can figure out some way to get him out before then, so this probably won't be the end of my boring tirade)
Did you try short sheeting his bed? Oh, wait, your probably too young to remember that too. Jeeze, second grade in "68. I graduated in the Summer Of Love. Whoops, your probably too young to remember that too. Jumping Jehosaphat, gosh darn young whippersnappers!!
what? no, I don't know about the old shaving cream in the album trick. Is that like putting a sleeping person's hand in warm water, or putting shaving cream or whipped cream in their hand & then tickling their nose?
I've certainly heard of short sheeting a bed many, many times, but no, I don't actually understand the act. I know gist of the Summer of Love, & hold on just a minute, you two - I'm 48 for goodness' sake; I'm NOT a young whippersnapper! So, there! ;-p
Boy, do I!!! hehehe..... sadly, my darling d flew home last night.
We had a lovely weekend here & then drove over to Charlotte for a couple days.
I DID miss you guys - HIYA, I'm baaack! '-)
