Sister run over by car last night

My sister was run over by a car last night. She's still alive, but her face looks awful, and her knees were injured, too. For those who live in the Seattle area, it occured at what used to be called Southcenter, near Lamps Plus. My sister had the walk light, and some idiot was watching traffic instead of looking for pedestrians. Hopefully, she'll be okay. I didn't know where to put this in the groups, so I put it here,

It is really terrible how inhumane people get during the holidays.

Yo Lowell, hope Your Sis is OK. So very Glad She survived the incident. This is a constant worry of mine everytime I cross a street with the GrandKids. All My Best to Her and You and may You figuratively pick up the pieces and have a Holly Jolly Holiday. Thank you to all for the responses! She reluctantly had to go to work because she had a huge payroll job to do today, but she'll be off tomorrow. She had planned an elaborate Christmas meal next week, too, with 11 people present. Couldn't have come at a worse time.

My sister is able to walk some now, although she still hurts. She gets a ride to the bus in the morning now, which is a big help.
