Well, I wondered if I was missing anything by not knowing a damn thing about....

So I looked her up on Wikipedia, and after reading her bio, I decided. Nope, it would be a better use of my time to memorize some of the jokes from the old Marx Brothers movies.
I'm kinda hip when it comes to some of that older stuff.

I like her. She scared me. I saw her last week on a recorded version of Ellen. I thought, "What the hellll?" and then I listened to her and I thought, Oh, she must be a weirdo.
And I Wikopedia'ed her also, and thought: OK, so I like weirdo's and she is all right!

Live and let live...yep I agree. She isn't targeting me and the rest of the Geritol gang with her music, nor should she. We're still singin' four part harmony with CSN&Y.
Several years ago, I did listen to a Britney Spears CD, to see what she was all about. One song on it was "(I can't get no) Satisfaction".

During the Beatles break through, I used to wonder why on this earth that my grandparents found enjoyment in the "Lawrence Welk Show." I could not connect unless the Lennon Sisters came out and sang. Those girls inspired me": that White Motown may exist, if I tried harder.

If you haven't already memorized all the jokes from the Marx Brothers, I can see why you might want to plug such a gaping hole in your education before moving on to more contemporary topics.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Lady Gaga is who we all secretly hoped Britney Spears would grow up to be. -
