Ok--I guess I will shut up now!
Super long day. I did get to see the first two homers and get home just in time to see the ending.

By golly so far Melly's system is working. You ever play the lottery Mel? Hotness of the convenience store worker?
Yes, I was thinking about your glib prognostication the whole game, looks like just like the team you described.
Well it looks like the Steinbrenners are going to have to make Cliff Lee an offer he can't refuse! He made the Yankees look like little leaguers; in addition to that my worst fears were confirmed again as the bullpen came in and coughed up four runs in two innings. Maybe a sweep coming? The Yanks have the emotional Burnett pitching tomorrow but for that matter so is Pedro. Tomorrow's game may determine the Series.

Regardless of the outcome it was great watching Lee pitch a masterpiece. He only struggled in ninth and for a second there before Utley attempted the double play I thought they at least would have a chance to get Sabathia of the hook who despite struggling initially only threw two bad pitches to Utley. I thought we might see a Reggie Jackson repeat of three homers in a game. Jeter had a good game though going three for five but the Yanks couldn't get more than two runners on at a time.

Did you notice the two fielding plays by Lee:)! The way he handled that pop-up by ?????? was priceless. The grounder wasn't bad either; as was commented by Buck and McCarver he has unflappable confidence.

Tomorrow's game will be huge and Pedro has a lot to pitch for as I think there has been talk of his retiring. Hawker, you right! We Yankee fans are in peril but we have three more left; hopefully the game will be decided by the time "Survivor" comes on (yeah, I know a guilty pleasure)
