I agree with Moosie 100%---he is right on with this advise--portion control---and all the other things he said'
Cut out all high fructose corn syrup and sugar. Read all labels you will be shocked how many things have HFCS. Go for fresh and no processed foods. This may not be the fastest way but it is healthy.
Stop eating or eat once a day or every other day and start walking. OK not everyone can just stop but radically change your diet...vegies and stuff. Also add a multi vitamin so your smaller intake will not lose all those trace elements that can make you sick.
Many thanks for all your answers...
God bless you all...
I agree, you two, it is not healthy to eat once a day. Your body needs fuel and it needs it regularly, just like your car. It won't run better if you overfill the tank, but it will stop (or in our case, run badly) if you don't give it enough. My rules? Decide how much you need to eat, and spread it evenly over the day. Portion control is the key. And if it's not good for you, don't buy it. (I have to do this, because if it is in the house I'll be tempted.)

I'm no nutritionist, Bonnie, but I find that exercise is essential for me, and fresh foods - no prepared dishes or commercial baked goods - and lots of water. In the winter last year, when I spent too much time on the computer, I noticed my ankles getting puffy. I set the timer and regularly got up and out for a walk (if it was raining, I danced!) - it helped a lot.
Piece of cake ... LMAO LMAO
- no sweets
- no pasta or bread or taters
- eat lean meat, viggies and salad
- get up one hour early and take a 1 hour walk every morning

I lost 25 lbs in 4 months .. drink Lots of Water ..!

Remember ...it's all in the math ..
If you eat 5000 calories and burn only 3000 calories you just added 2000 calories of FAT !
I joined weight watchers the end of march...(was a life time member from lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggg ago)
You are deprived of nothing, pretty much a well balanced meal.....feel better, look better...and is doable...reached my goal weight plus...over a month ago...so four months...lost 27 lbs and feel like a million...
is all about portion control and getting all of food groups in each and every day
good luck to your friend
