TBD

TBD on Ning

I read 14 books in July. I had 4 new library books, but 2 of those got returned quickly.  Then I read one this month which was good: Maui Macadamia Madness by Cynthia Hickey.

Then I read one from my other list which was good:

The Innkeeper’s Last Secret by Sage Parker (#1) I liked it, but not enough to buy the other 5 in that series.

I've now started another library book, but haven't gotten far:  Bookclubbed to Death by V M Burns.

I'm still getting library books, but so far, I am not finding them as interesting as my 'other' books.  Even some old favorite authors are disappointing.  I tried to read a new one (to me) by Joanne Fluke--but as usual: too many recipes and not enough 'story'! So I just returned that one.  I have 3 more to look at. But....

What I will probably end up reading next : Chocolate Most Deadly by Mary Maxwell; Meringues, Matrimony & Murder by Polly Holmes; and Dying for Magic by Sarah Noggkr.   I've deleted a lot, but picked up a few more 'freebies', so still have almost 7,300 books in my Amazon account.   I'm slowly dumping the PDF ones, but still have 200 of those, to add to my 'count'.   I'm getting there, slowly!

I'm still 'trying' to read the library books. I gave up on  Bookclubbed to Death. That leaves 3 more.

I guess that right now I'm just not in the mood for 'real mysteries'--too long. Today I'm trying to read The Tattered Cover by Ellery Adams, one of my old favorite authors. I hope I can finish this one! After this,  I won't bother looking for more library books. I still have thousands of cozy mysteries to choose from (my Amazon account) & many of those are 'light', and easier to read, even if they are long.  ANYWAY, no more 'one book every day' for now, lol.
