But, considering the ignorant racist furor over Spanish being sung/spoken at the Super Bowl last night, this feels apropos.
I didn't watch the Super Bowl. Considering your comment. I'm very thankful I didn't. My blood pressure is already high enough.
I didn't watch it either, as I don't give a toot about the Super Bowl OR Bad Bunny -
But, by all accounts, his performance was, at least, life-affirming and joyful, while the "redneck safe-space" version, starring "Hillbilly Vanilli" Kid Rock, was fucking AWFUL.
(The rot at the center of right-wing "culture" is beginning to stink so bad that it's impossible for even them to ignore; Claiming that they had over 5 million "viewers", while more and more investigations reveal that probably 4 to 4 & 1/2 of those "viewers" were 'bots, is really no different than the desperate, ourtrageous lies being spewed about the miserable box office for the "Melania" movie....)
