i saw this movie a coupe of days ago and while it was supposed to be a serious drama ( and in some parts it was ) the part where he took all them qualudes almost made me piss my pants it was so funny .. ehh.. i dunno maybe you had to know what it was all about to get it .. back in the early 70's i experimented a little bit with a few drugs .. ok so maybe it was more than a few .. and qualudes was one of em i knew well .. back then they were made by rorer.. i really can't say if the company that took em over made em exactly the same .. but they never changed the number .. they were still 714 .. rorer 714 and then lemon 714 . but they were already gettin a bad name by the time lemon bought them out .. and probably deservedly so .. ehh who am i kiddin .. they definitely deserved it which was why they unloaded em to lemon despite the fact they were probably one of their best sellers .. they knew how strong they were .. so i'm watchin the movie with nancy and dicaprio takes about 4 or 6 of these ludes thinkin they ain't any good anymore cause they were a bit old .. all i said was that was a real bad move . this part can't end well .. and then he gets a phone call sayin he has some news but he knows his phone is tapped , go to another phone and call him back .. so leo jumps in his ferrari or mazzerati or one of them really expensive sports cars and goes to the country club .. gets on the phone and them ludes hit him like a sledge hammer and he can't even pronounce his words .. next thing you know he can't stand up .. i told nancy he's gonna have to crawl from here .. how do you know ?? uhh .. lets just say been there and done that .. he gets outside and theirs some stairs .. i told her he can't walk down them stairs .. hows he gonna get down?? he's gonna have to crawl and roll .. and roll down them stairs he did .. then he managed to get back in his expensive sports car and drive home .. i told her there ain't no way on gods green earth hat he's gonna make it home without hittin somethin .. and probably a bunch of somethins woud be more like it .. and then he actually made it home and didn't hit anything .. all i said was that part ain't truthful .. you know how hollywood likes to change shit around to make it more interestin .. i'm tellin you in real life he would hit shit all the way home .. and then the next day the cops are there wakin him u and they take him outside and you see his car . and its mangled almost beyond recognition .. and he says well , i guess i didn't make it home last night without hittin anything like i thought ..

all i can say is , and i can't emphasize this enough .. this ain't as much fun as one might think .. i can't say i'm some kinda genius but i can learn not only from my own mistakes but from others as well . whenever them ludes came around everybodies cars were banged up and bashed in and when you'd ask what happened the reply was usually well .. i'm not sure .. i remember takin a couple of ludes last night and its a bit fuzzy from there .. i musta sideswiped somethin on my way home .. but for the life of me ,, i can't say what .. i remember takin a few of em one nite and sayin whoa .. i gotta lie down or i'm gonna fall down .. i had a very small bedroom in this house that i rented with a bunch of guys .. think of animal house and you get the idea .. and in my room in the corner was my bed and right next to the bed about 18 inches away was my stereo amp and my turntable sittin on top of a couple of cinder blocks and a board some albums underneath .. i remember makin to my room .. i thought i was lined up with the bed right and just flopped down face first .. i missed the bed completely and managed to fall right between the bed and the stereo and somehow rolled under the bed .. i couldn't figure out how to get out and with all the partyin goin on nobody could hear me anyway .. so i slept under the bed that night .. good thing i didn't have to drive home huh ?? suffice it to say them rorer 714's weren't my favorite thing to do .. you take 3 or 4 of them and your head is flatter than your kitchen counter .. think of the drunkest you've ever been and then multiply that by 10 .. which was why i found it all so funny ..cause i knew how hard they can kick your ass .. i've heard it said that you laugh at somethin cause it makes you feel superior to the poor shithead in that situation .. maybe for some thats true .. i think you laugh cause you're relieved that it ain't you .. after watchin dicaprio i can tell you thats exactly how i felt .. whoa . this guys in for it now .. i'm sooo glad that ain't me ..

I have absolutely no experiences with drugs or alcohol that made me do things I would normally do. All the stupid things I've done, I did while I was clean and sober.  Waaaaaah!

I read a couple of books about these Wall Street guys and I also saw this movie.  What corrupt bastards.

the plus side of doing all the ''stupid things" when you are sober is you can remember them. otherwise it is sort of like being punished for things you didn't do if you can't remember..

by the by...i tried watching this movie three times...i couldn't. all it was doing was pissing me off. the boys from wall street deserve to be marched off the roofs of their big tall buildings for what they did to the american and the global economy.
