british prime minister cameron ups the threat level for isis

if you guys ain't heard about that its the truth .. he's takin these guys very seriously .. he;s sayin there are a bunch of people that are goin there to fight alongside them and then might wanna come back to the u.k. and do some acts of terrorism .. he's talkin about revokin passports to let em out and not lettin the ones who left already back in .. i think its a good move on his part .. you can't have your feet and heart in both countries so you better decide first where you wanna be .. cameron went on to condemn them to the point of just stoppin short of puttin boots on the ground .. and that might just be his next speech ..and them brits ain't stupid .. half the world don't speak english cause they're dumb .. so i think he's worth payin attention to ..

so far obama hasn't said much even tho we know he is not pro isis in any way shape or form ..but if we have citizens comin and goin over there i see no reason why we wouldn't ask them to state their business commin and goin to places they visit overseas .. they have homeland security .. all they need is a few rooms to detain anyone they think might be up to somethin ... if they're not no harm done ..we'll at least have a list of names and faces to start with if somethin should jump off .. if they are we might be able to avert another 9/11 with a little preemptive action on our part .. the ounce of prevention vs. the pound of cure scenario .. as far as obamas plan goes i'm not upset that he doesn't have a plan yet .. i like the idea that he's gonna think this through and hopefully he'll be smart enough to hear a lot of different views and decide to take the best one .. i do hope we don't have to put any boots on the ground but if we do i hope its not just american boots this time .. but in the end iraq is mostly our fault .. we broke it .. we can't go into sears and pickup a set of dishes and then throw them on the floor and say gee it sounds like them dishes are busted we don't want them .. we managed to takeout the one guy who was holdin iraq together and then replaced him with someone who couldn't and killed a lotta people along the way . as much as i'd like to say it doesn't,  on some level i have to admit that it does make us responsible ..

I'm sure we'll have some tragedy because of this group, I do think we're on top of the rumors or plans and have different scenarios in place depending on what is happening and where. It is a good plan to curtail travel in and out of the countries and at least interview anyone who travels there.

I'm with you on our destabilizing Iraq...we should have finished our business in Afghanistan and got our kids back home where they belong instead of going colonial on Saddam. Now we're in it, period. The British PM has the right idea and I think with him being so public about it, he raises awareness in the whole country. We have lots of Mosques in the area and I worry as the nut jobs don't seem to mind killing their own along with 'infidels'. There are a lot of malls etc around but then hitting different targets all over at the same time worked well for Bin Laden, at least at that time. I hope the people who believe we have a plan in place are right, I really do. Myself, I'm afraid we may have underestimated them when we should have been taking care of business. Now they're recruiting like crazy and getting all kinds of world wide attention so any ass hat with an agenda is ready to go join up. Looks to me like we're in for quite a ride if the big boys in Washington haven't been doing their jobs.

yeah the grid is definitely vunerable .. but what i worry about the most is the nuclear power plants .. one good meltdown and its bye bye to everybody within a hundred mile radius .. fukushima and chernobyl  will look like pajama parties ... or beach blanket bingo by comparison ..

We have the Fermi power plant within 30 miles of us. We'd be dust in a nano second I'm thinking. Or hoping; I sure wouldn't want to left alive after a meltdown that close.

i agree .. about 30 years ago i was thinkin if world war 3 started where would i go ?? and i tried to get some kinda plan mapped out in my head and then it dawned on me ... why in the world would i want to still be here if everything was as radioactive as a freakin candle in the dark ?? why would i wanna just watch my fingers and toes fall off.. my eyeballs rot outta my head ?? my brains leakin outta my ears ?? for what ?? i wanna know where they're gonna drop the big one so i can stand right on that spot .. no problem anymore ..
