TBD on Ning

I just watched two police chiefs, who had no clue what the other would say, comment on the shooting death of the black guy in St. Louis, and I say black because that's what the conflict is.  BOTH said police are trained to shoot at the center body, not the limbs, and to STOP the threat, no matter what it takes.

The lesson learned is simple:  Don't confront the police.  While they are around, they win.  It's as simple as that.  It may not be right, but it is what it is.

If they just gun somebody down in the middle of the street who posed no threat, well the evidence will be clear. These cases are not clear.  But, "Yes, sir" is the way to go until they are gone and people can return to their own lives.

Cracked me up; he did give some good advise and maybe all young kids, not just blacks, should pay attention to most of his 'tips'.

Really!!!  This idea that everyone prejudges black youths just because of racism is a canard.  There are reasons. I just read that a white guy who was warned about going into a pancake house in Mississippi, a vet from Afghanistan, was beaten into a coma by TWENTY black youths.  When is TWENTY to one ever ever fair?

In Ferguson, there are gunshots every night.  A kid was interviewed--a highschool kid--he said he wanted a chance to live since at least FIFTEEN of his friends have been shot, and only one by a cop--the rest by his own neighbor thugs.  I feel bad for the good people in a black neighborhood.  The thugs are like terrorists holding everyone hostage to their vileness.

This politically correct handling of these situations with gloves on has to stop, and we need to call out what the communities are doing poorly as well as what the cops are doing poorly.

We had a young guy from the military killed here in front of a convenience store when he responded to being car jacked by 2 young blacks. He was white. We didn't riot or burn down the store either. Basically because the people of this community are for the most part responsible people, regardless of their station in life. As for the way most of these crimes in black areas are handled - you re so sooo correct. No one wants to say what they're thinking, that maybe there would be a turn around if black daddys stuck around and raised their kids. Maybe working at a real job and just TRYING to make it instead of taking the easy way out and selling drugs or becoming thugs and living a life of crime. There are young kids doing just that, and trying to get their education and move on to a good life, even if it starts throwing burgers at Mickey Dee's. In many big cities they are far outnumbered by others telling them they're just being 'white man's nigger's'. Sorry for using the N word, but that's the truth and exactly what they get told.
