What are some other things that "they" (doesn't have to be a different country) say differently from the way "you" (and maybe your relatives) always say it?

btw, thanks for posting you guys...I have had a very hectic week at work. It's so nice to see you all playing so nicely...lol. THANK YOU all who have been posting. LLL, Carrie, and CaliforniaNow...I appreciate it so much. I know that I see flipper, johnnieboy, officerrippley, teebubbadee, and so many stop in here regularly. It makes for an interesting and fun time here. OHHH let us not forget PA and snagg's visits!!  ...and allllll  of youz guys...lol

In my personal experience, Americans say "F*** Y*** !!!", and Brits say, "Well, Thank You Very Much Then".

In NJ it's "bite me",or sometimes "bite my ass".

I watch a show on Velocity called Wheeler Dealers. It is about two guys in England who restore old cars. It is kind of informative and funny. I have learned more about how the British talk than how to restore cars. On cars the hood is the bonnet, fenders are wings, the truck is the boot, the transmission is the gearbox and a car is called a motor.
