your best bet is to get some tramadol or rimadyl from the vet.
Didn't know that , sorry .
We have our GSD on it; He's almost 11, and the hip dysplasia that plagues GSD's is starting to kick in with him.
It's strong stuff - Considered a controlled substance. Prescription very necessary.
I have doggy tramadol here just in case. My dog has limped, but since I started daily glucosamine , she is much better. Her advantange is the she is not heavy--about forty pounds only, so I think that's why it works for her joints. And still, some days she pulls this or hurts that, and a tramadol at least calms her down a bit. She is ansty, runs, and that's what causes the problems.

I try to be in bed by 10. I usually get up with my husband at 4am, we walk the dog, he heads off to work and after my daughter leaves for school I will take a nap (winter) It's easier to stay awake in the summer. Sometimes I have been in bed by 8. It just depends on what my body is telling me.
