We always would sake the tree limbs . The ripe ones fell on the ground . If a got one that wasn't ripe enough it would pucker your mouth up . Putting nuts raisins would be a great idea . Persimmons are around the size of a quarter if wild . Ones I've seen in stores are about the size of a small peach . Never have tasted that kind ....
