ok here's another one of my songs

well this is one that to be honest i'm not crazy about the way the vocals came out .. i used a little univox echo which had a little tape in it that looked like an 8 track only smaller .. and we all remember how unreliable 8 tracks were .. this thing was no better .. and it makes me sound like i'm singin flat in some places . and i'm not .. its the tape echo .. it was a neat effect tho and the guitar sounds pretty cool ..and it was the only game in town at the time i did it ..now all the echo's and delays are digital ..  and i do like the song . just certain spots kinda get to me cause i know i could do better but for now .. this is it .. the song has a sort of pretenders kinda vibe to it at first .. till the lead guitar comes in and then its more like david gilmour and pink floyd .. and if you have headphones there's a part where the lead guitar and the vocals criss cross that sounds kinda neat .. anyway .. thats enough excuses ..who knows you might like it .. again its all me double trackin on a 4 track .. hope you like it

You have a such a nice tone to your voice and there is a an underlying riff, in the base I think, that is very familiar but I can't put my finger on it.  Thanks for posting this Frenchy, I really enjoyed it.  And you not only sound good, you look delicious too!

I don't see pictures either.  But the song brings me back to a more chaotic, but simpler time, if that's possible.  Who knew where they were going back then, but here we are.  Nice sound, Frenchy!

I watched Al Jazeera news last night for a nano second and fell in love with the American reporter who was about 35, had the bluest eyes I have ever seen, longish hair--but not too long, a little rag-taggedness to his appearance, sigh.  The piece was about the NSA, but I wasn't even listening.  Sometimes, someone just catches your eye.  I'll be you caught a lot of girl's eye, French.

Sounds like the late 70's...makes me smile...sort of captures the time...the echo thingy...the group of guys I ran around with had one of those and one of those wawa thingies. Wonder if any of those guys saved any of their music?

thanks everybody for the comments .. i been pretty much awol for the last few days .. got a new computer and tryin to get all my old files and everything moved , plus ship out a few guitars i sold and finish buildin a few others i'm in the middle of .. man .. lemme tell you , gettin a new computer is like movin .. cept all the heavy liftin is in your head .. you have all them programs where you know where all the knobs and gidgets are to make em work and where all your files are .. last week on ebay was a nightmare .. but i think its gonna be alright yeah  the worst is over now , the summer sun is shinnin like a red rubber ball .. and who knows maybe i'll revive a few other old songs ..

and yeah vickie i'd like to do some of em over with the new technology .. it would gimme 8 or 16 tracks to work with . doin it all myself makes it really hard to squeeze it all into only 4 tracks so i lose control of the final mix cause i have to do a lot of premixin and bouncin tracks to get more space .. and do some of the newer songs i wrote that i think are even better .. soon tho .. and for those that couldn't see it here's the pic you couldn't see .. i didn't notice it before but i look like i'm pissed about somethin .. but i'm probably not .. takes a lot to piss me off ..
