I must be getting old..
I opted out of the Christmas party this year. (I'm the one that puts it together) Just did not interest me. I even had a comp room. Think I want to go to a good Mexican restaurant and raise a rucus there with friends.

Umm..Don't think I'll go that far at hell raising. That did almost happen to a group I was with one time on Bourbon Street though. Good thing I could run fast in the old days.

Some years you just don't want to be celebrating with the people you work with, I don't blame you dwalt, go have fun with your real friends, Mexican sounds good, don't hold the tequila.

Maybe the government should do a movie entitled 'Margarita Madness'.
We need to be protected from ourselves........I've heard tales of people ingesting so many margaritas that they lost consciousness......and the flashbacks......repeated visions of the inside of a toilet bowl seem so real that it almost like it's really happening......ask me how I know...

oh man uno .. i know how .. the night it got me i wasn't even drinkin margaritas .. i was just doin straight shots of tequila .. finally got to that 10 feet tall and bulletproof stage and said gee we might not have enough tequila .. lets go get some more .. so i got some girl to drive me to the liquor store .. ( ain't there a law or somethin about lettin you buy more booze if you can hardly stand up ) then on to the supermarket to get more lemons .. i was told the next day i did 19 shots of tequila .. ( if i had known it was a contest i woulda told em about the half a dozen or so i did before anybody else got there.. but who really counts after the first 4 or 5 ) i spent the rest of the night hung over .. hung over the porch rail.. searchin for my lost buick .. least thats what i was told .. kept callin out for a buick .. not sure why .. i had a chevy .. never quite made it upstairs to pray in front of the porcelin god .. never did find that buick either ..didn't stop me from callin for it tho ..

Think I'm going to stick to Long Island Ice tea. A lot safer and taste better.

Uhm, Long Island Ices teas have TEQUILA in them, d!! And they are my mixed drink of choice. For some reason, they make me feel happy while wine makes me feel sad after two glasses.

Over the years liquor has lost it's magic for me and the ensuing after effects of over doing...was never all that it promised to be. It always surprises me how long it took me for me to learn the lessons of demon rum or tequila as it were. Something to be said of aging sometimes.
Holiday celebrations shouldn't just be obligations to get through..should be about having some fun with folks you like to spend time with...course I'm thinking ya oughtta be doing that all the time. -
