What words do you use or hear other people say when Cussing the most often ?

I found out early in life my Grandma would slip a curse word ever now and again . Don't think i ever heard my Grandpa cuss . At least in front of me . My Dad cussed a lot . Sometimes word for word . Mom rarely . Now if riled up i can cuss with the best of them . Always tried to hold it around my kids and other kids . Now days if i use something toward the "F" word i will use maybe fracking , learned that on Battlestar movie . I despise using Gods name in Vain whether true or not .

My daddy always told me cussing was for people who were too stupid to know the proper words to use. That cured me; I didn't want my dad.....or anyone else, for that matter.....to think me stupid. I raised my kids the same way, and three of the four don't use much of it. My youngest son can be guilty of dropping the "F-Bomb" from time to time, but he has really been trying to break the habit since becoming a father.

I agree with Karin. As a Marine I know all the words...However, I have always considered those who have to resort to foul language in order to communicate either do not have a very good vocabulary or are too dumb to develop one.

I'm one of those folks who see cursing as "colorful language" - As something that can add dimension to a conversation, but shouldn't be used in place of reason, facts or honesty.

It's like using spices in a meal - The right amount adds flavor, but they shouldn't take the place of the main ingredients.

I got into a discussion of religion on FB with a young man who's a friend of two of my granddaughters. It wasn't meant to be that.....but my oldest granddaughter had posted something about people taking exception to Christmas trees displayed in public....and I had told her that I had two friends....one Jewish....one Jehovah's Witness....who didn't "do" Christmas, but didn't have a problem with Holiday displays. He ripped into me full throttle......calling me nasty names and cussing his head off. I couldn't see what I had done to deserve that....and I told him so. I said that....as two intelligent adults (and he is smart), I didn't see why we couldn't discuss this issue without resorting to profanity......and he got even nastier.....finishing his remarks with,"Backoff, you #£%?!!, you old *itch!"...... at which point my granddaughter got involved and told him I was her grandmother (a fact he already knew) and she wanted him to mind his mouth. He became silent after that. I just have a problem with adults who cannot seem to debate an issue without being vulgar and foul-mouthed. How is that supposed to win anyone over to your side?

I'm not a huge user but I can't go to a movie or read a book without the words in common usage so they've lost all power they're just letters strung together without any particular meaning to me at all. It's just the way some people express themselves so no shock value. WTF?

If I'm at home with my husband talking about something or discussing some of the politicians I'm just as apt to say what a dumb fuck or what an ass.

well .. cursein is just vulgar sometimes .. but sometimes it can be used in jest .. or anger .. i think for me more than anything its not the words themselves .. its how they're used and the tone more than anything else .. to just say what an ass is no big deal .. but to get right in someone's face and say you are an ass with a very strong forceful tone , it carries a lot more weight .. and i hardly ever do that .. unless the person really deserves it .. and at that point if they get upset a good thump in the nose might be next ..so for me its more like a warning signal that somebody just crossed the line if i use a tone like that .. and it takes a lot to cross a line with me cause i don't get upset easy ..

I have always worked with mostly men. Men that were oilfield workers, boilermaker, sheetmetal, ect.  Sometimes just to get my point across to them I have to say a few coloful words.  It's really kind of funny because when they hear a 5'3  108 lb woman snap right back at them they pretty much basck off.  Works for me!!!
