TBD

TBD on Ning

So here we are looking around, taking a peek... hanging out.

On some thread a bit ago, some one said how annoying the FB was with all the trivial updating goings on.

Personally, I don't think my daily updating is all that interesting but some times I really feel the need to share.  My kitties don't give a whit and the bird...well, he lives in his own world.  His updates would mostly involve "lived another day"..."got some of that shredded stuff again (cheese)"  etc.

Mostly, I have you fine folks to droll on about my meager existence and occasional moments of wonderful.

So, here you go...Keep it brief...mundane with a bit of intrigue.

I've got a whole bunch of kale in the garden still. Love you. Thanks!

I planted 50 pounds of radish seed and 50 pounds of turnip seed which is growing now.

I need to make some sprouts

BBQ'd pulled pork on a toasted bun.

I planted one square foot of grass on Sunday.

Aggie!!!! I don't think you should share this kind of information on the internet. I know marijuana has been "legalized" in several states, but I'm pretty sure Texas isn't one of them.

This is grass from Kyle Field, Home of the Fighting Texas Aggies.

Former home of my grass.

We finally caved in an applied for a handicapped placard for my husband. I have been driving him to the entrance of where we go and dropping him off than go park and walk to meet him and reverse it when we leave. He is losing his balance a little and walks really slow because he doesn't want to fall.

In the past we always thought getting those would hinder any progress, I feel the same about carts, need to keep those limbs moving and use what we have.

It's a little sad I think but it will make things easier.

Ya gotta do what ya gotta do Lifesighs. I have neuropathy in my feet and my Dr. just told me last week that it would qualify me for a Handicap card. I've got the paperwork finished and will probably take it to the DMV tomorrow. I don't plan on using it all the time, but if I'm having a tough day, I'm sure it will come in handy. On the plus side, I'll get to park for free when we go to the beach.

My daughter, her husband, and my only grandson are going to move back in with us at the end of the month. And I;m already stressing!!! The whole idea is to help them while the son in law goes back to college, and hopefully makes a better life for them. This is going to take years, and the only upside I see is having my grandson around daily. The rest of it is going to be a real pain. We have to give up the master bedroom and bath so that the three of them can fit into one room. This leaves Dee and I with the smaller bedroom and it is going to be tough to jam all of our clothes into the smaller closet.

OK, I'm done bitching for now because it won't make any difference. But expect updates!!!!!
