The man tells it like it is. The truth hurts. Doesn't it, our Republican majority Congress of loonies, nutcases and crazies?

During a speech on the House floor to call for a vote on a resolution that said Congress’ “dignity” had been impugned by the government shutdown, Grayson frustrated Speaker pro tempore Steve Womack (R-AR) 

The Florida Democrat pointed to a Public Policy Polling survey that found that Congress had an 8 percent approval rating. And to infuriate Republicans further, he read out of the each items that the American people found more likable than Congress.

• “What do you have a higher opinion of, Congress or witches? Congress, 32 percent; witches, 46 percent,” he said.
• “What do you have a higher opinion of, Congress or hemorrhoids? Congress, 31 percent; hemorrhoids, 53 percent.
• What do you have a higher opinion of, Congress or dog poop? Congress 40 percent; dog poop 47 percent.”

At that point, Womack cautioned Grayson to confine his remarks to an explanation of why his resolution was privileged under Rule IX.

• But the congressman continued citing the poll, comparing Congress to toenail fungus, cockroaches and zombies.

I enjoy watching him when he turns up on Bill Maher's show...He can always be counted on to steal any guest republican's lunch money, every time. He slashes through their bullshit and lies, and is primed and ready for the next shovel-load that they try to use to cover their freshly-mauled asses. A command of those inconvenient REAL facts that teabaggers and GOP half-wits so dread, and no fear at all to use them.

To be fair, denial doesn't recognize political beliefs....But I've never seen a political party so hell-bent on insisting that reality is WRONG.

It really has reached the point of conservatism having become a religious cult and not a political party. Absolute, unwavering conviction is essential to it's survival, fingers-in-the-ears-eyes-scrunched-closed-yelling-"LALALALALALALALALA !!!! RED IS BLUE ! CHICKENS ARE FROGS ! I KNOW IT'S TRUE !!!" is the feverish prayer to their god, and I do think some of them are starting to panic that their pleas, like all prayers, are remaining unanswered.

I actually would be okay with this resulting in a coast-to-coast teabagger mass suicide if they lose yet again, because these people are the EXACT opposite of democracy, and their only goal is to destroy it for the rest of us so that they can change the United States into a corporate-run theocracy and rule us for all time. They are FANATICS, and will never stop until they get their way. A Jonestown-style group kakking MIGHT shock potential fanatics to realize just what kind of lunatics they almost climbed into bed with.

What's pathetic is that if 50,000 teabaggers drank Drano, the Koch brothers and their buddies on Wall Street would simply shrug and go looking for the next bunch of suckers.

My mother is an 85 year old conservative, religious republican and this afternoon she told me that the teabaggers scare her more than anything else.

I just had lunch with my favorite tea baggers and they didn't say anything remotely politically stupid today.  They must be feeling the heat LOL...
