Do you have a special recipe or dinner that your family or whoever you cook for just loves but you don't like cooking it?

Anything you prefer to go out for rather than cook it yourself?

Something you really enjoy cooking and eating?

Do you think you're a good cook? What's the best thing you fix?

I love to cook.

I have the opposite situation as the one posed by your question.

I make an eggplant dip that I love and everyone else hates the taste and smell of it.

You need a gas stove. Put one eggplant directly on burner. Turn gas on to medium/high. Leave  eggplant  on the burner until it flames. Remove flaming eggplant from burner and place in glass bowl. Peel eggplant after it cools somewhat. Mash remaining eggplant...add olive oil, garlic, minced onions , and salt to taste....as nobody else will be tasting it more than once. I like it on pita bread, pita chips, or matzo....ENJOY!

Not really special but i love taking tuna and several eggs and scrambling egg's together ...

Weiner's hot dogs eh...I'll stay with Nathan's.

I don't like cooking on the grill but my family loves it. I have perfected grilling veggies and I can grill steaks to order. It's usually hot and sweaty work in FL...not so nice for the griller.

I'd rather go out for seafood...it gets messy and stinky preparing it.

I like to cook breakfast foods...doing a brunch on the weekend is my favorite time to eat and cook...I do it all...omelettes, eggs to order, stratas, casseroles, pancakes, waffles, crepes, bacon, sausage...and more lol...

My cornbread is to die for according to my family...I make it in the oven in a iron skillet and heat the oil and pan so that when I pour the batter in it sizzles and makes a crust on the bottom and edges and then bake it..it is yummy if you like cornbread.

I grew up with British cooking, enough said!  My kids loved my Shepherds Pie (technically Cottage Pie since I make it with beef, not lamb).  I am not fond of cooking and now it is just the two of us, we take turns at making dinner.  I am in charge of the fish cooking, my husband is the meat man.  We eat very plainly, I'm allergic to chicken and eggs so that cuts out a lot of choices.

So no spotted dick?

You gotta miss that.

I ALWAYS prefer to go out to eat as opposed to eating my cooking!! Uhhh no thanks!! However, I DO cook dinner every day for my client (Monday thru Thursday anyway) and she LOVES what I make but I do "cheat" a lot. Betty Crocker potatoes and Rice a Roni sometimes. I do well with vegetables as I dress them up with parmesan cheese or Feta cheese and Italian seasonings.

No Spotted Dick uno, they found a cure for that.
