Dream Vacation

If you could go anywhere and take a nice long vacation, where would you go? Who would you like to take with you?

Paris is supposed to be a beautiful place. A friend of mine had the dream to go to see the Eiffel tower before she died and her husband got her there the week before she passed away. My personal dream vacation would be to Ireland. It just looks so beautiful.

Every vacation I take is a dream vacation and the focus is always scuba diving. This past June I got a change to dive some of the cenotes (fresh water caves) in Mexico. Also got to snorkel with whale sharks. Wonderful experiences!

I like active vacations with activities that are not readily available around here. But I always plan some down time - have to rest up for the next activity! ;-) Actually, I like a a nice balance of both!

This past December I went scuba diving in the Keys (I only got certified in November). I had never been on a boat or on the ocean. Four foot waves, and I had eaten a large lunch. I found out that you can vomit through a regulator.

Yes, I heard that can be done and as a matter of fact read an article recently about hurling through a regulator. Glad you were able to continue on your dive after your (ahem) new expereince! The key is not to panic during these types of situations.

And . . . maybe a little sea-sickness meds b/4 hand would be a good idea? ;-) Just saying! ;-)

Afterwards, the crew told me about Bonine. But that day I was wishing I had taken Bonine, Boten AND Boeleven!

I took one of my dream vacations in May of this year..Japan. I would like to revisit the UK especially York to meet up again with my pen pal of 25 years. I'd also like to visit Vienna and Northern Germany and Spain. For now I'll be going to Chicago in September.

WELL LET'S SEE--SAME PLACE I USUALLY GO TO --MASS--
JUST LOVE THE PLACE N ONCE IN AWHILE BRING A FAMILY MEMBER WITH ME..
MAYBE CHANGE TO NEW PLACE FOR NEXT TIME..
