Welcome anthony and Trish to a rather new feline discussion group. Trish I'd be interested in hearing about the photo you posted: it's quite whimsical! Anthony...how many felines are yo owned by? Continue

Happy Birthday!
Merry Christmas, Carol!!
I hope you and your son had a lovely, festive day. Judging by your yummy Thanksgiving dinner, I bet it was also a delicious Christmas! My Christmas day fare was a mini loaf of cranberry bread a close friend sent me. Hahaha! I ate it throughout the day with milk. Not very healthy, but very scrumptious!

Hi, Carol!!
Sorry it took me a while to respond. I caught a horrific cold (not COVID, thank God) while at the hospital having tests several week ago. I'm only now beginning to recover.
What a wonderful and truly useful epiphany you had! Half-halts are definitely a path to a more balanced and collected trot, and a steadier, more controlled trot is better for both Pumba and you. Hooray!!! Definitely keep at it.
I certainly understand some proficiencies and training intentions falling by the wayside after an accident like yours. I admire you greatly for continuing to ride and, beyond that, continuing to push yourself. Many people would simply have given up. You are a true equestrienne!
I hope the rest of your life is going well and that you have something fun planned for this Spring or Summer (perhaps a wee trip).
Warm wishes and great riding!
A. XOXOXOXOXOX
I'm sorry to hear that your left leg is refusing to do its job, but I'm happy you made some progress and, most of all, that you're still riding--period! Good job!!
Have a Happy Thanksgiving, Carol. I hope you and your son are just going to take it easy with a little turkey, pie, and TV, or some such. Nothing going on here, of course, but I've gotten used to it.
I'm grateful you're my friend on TBD.
A. XOXOXOX
Thank you for the Easter greeting, Carol!
I'm sorry you feel a bit down--or at least uninspired--today, but you're not the only one. LOL No Easter basket, bunny, or dinner here either. I'm glad, at least, that you and your son are going out for dinner. That's something.
Perhaps COVID will be gotten under control this year. We can hope. As for humanity, it's not looking great, is it? Haha!
Oh well. There are still horses!
A. XOXOXOX
Happy St. Patrick's Day, Carol!
I was so happy to read that Coffee and his friend were brought home safely from their little excursion! It was terrifying when a horse from PHC would get out of a field and onto the road. I love happy endings!
Have a great day today. I hope there's some corned beef and cabbage in your future or, at least, some Irish coffee.
Beannachtaí na féile pádraig ort.
A. XOXOXOXOX
