I may be considered a little backward, but I see no reason to clone extinct animals and bring them back into existence.

It just seems at this point in time they would fill no niche that would be beneficial to the planet or man, and might even cause an imbalance that could create problems.

Animals go extinct for reasons. I do not believe we should mess with nature just so we could have a curiosity.
