I really Commend you on that . Most teens were wild then and wilder now ... I think ....
Last ticket i got was driving left of center in a curb meeting a Highway Patrol coming at me . That was in 1979 . I knew he had me so i just put on brakes and waited for him .
I used to be bad falling asleep . Kids had to shake me . Went to Florida once and fell asleep . Woke up when car hit cleaned a ditch out . Didn't hurt anything or anyone . Sure scared the crap out of me . Had a 1960 Chevy that had a new paint job . Went through a town that i don't remember going through . Ran in ditch on left side of road . Took most of that new paint off the drivers side .
For some reason these days i haven't fell asleep in years .
I've never fallen asleep behind the wheel, though I've gotten very tired and pulled over to avoid having that happen! I used to have a lead foot but the last time I got a speeding ticket was over 10 years ago.
i never fell asleep at the wheel,i have gotten a couple speeding tickets, but i found out,if you go over double the highway speed limit, you will go to jail overnight and they will take your license for 6 months,if you push the cop's hand off your shoulder, they will hit you with a billy club and fine you up the wazoo, and do more jail time unless you hire a very smart lawyer.that was July 1980.
a couple years later,i became a driver for a US senator.i thought that was pretty cool.
That is very cool!! I would've loved a job like that.
he was kind of character, kind of a dick sometimes,he would be all friendly ,talking real nice to someone, then when they would leave,he'd tell you what a rat-bastard they are.but the job itself was butter,2nd best job i could ever want.
Oh brother. OK, true confessions time....I have had SO many, I'm not even SURE when the last speeding ticket was but I dont believe I EVER had one in the 3 years I have lived in Pittsburgh. But when i was living here, I went to visit my aunts cabin in Sandusky, Ohio and got one THERE. I guess its probably HARD to get a speeding ticket in Pittsburgh when I always seem to be in a traffic jam....LOL!! When I moved from one place in Tennessee to 30 minutes away in the country, I never knew how long it took to get anywhere and I ended up with 3 tickets in 3 different counties. (Chattanooga is situated on the border of 3 other states and at least that many counties so you dont have to go far.)
Free Spirited and a little wild were you ......
In my 47 years in Texas I never got a ticket. Moved up here and got 5 in 1 year. Who ever heard of going 55 to 25 on a major highway?? Learned my lesson, haved had one in 7 years. ( knock on wood)
VROOOOM
