1. Ignore them completely.

2. Or: . . .

I like the first solution much better. :-)

Sounds great if we can locate the two hidden mobile nuclear missile launchers they have aimed at South Korea and Japan.

I just wonder what Kim Jong Un is thinking. No sane person would do what he is doing.

No, they wouldn't.

This isn't about sanity, it is about the DPRK and the Kim family.  What we have here is puffer fish phenomena, appear bigger than they are, and to stay that way.  The reason they want to stay as they are, the Kims and those that are in power with them, like what they have got and don't want anything to change.  And scaring their people and the world serves their purpose, admirably.

Now the question is, if the bluff is taken, what then?  And if the bluff isn't taken, well, forgetaboutit.

For those that live higher up on the grassy knoll, there are other explanations of what is happening here.  And it starts with nuclear weapons and delivery systems and ends with Iran.

The DPRK is really defending their franchise as supplier of choice to those of the evil axis, and well paid suppliers at that of weapons of mass destruction.  The successful launch of a 3-stage rocket and the third nuclear test explosion has made the DPRK paranoid, even more paranoid as to how long the US, ROK and Japan can leave untouched the capability and capacity of DPRK to make and sell weapons, weapons that could be used against the US, ROK and Japan either by the DPRK or its clients.

Iran cut of the 5+1 talks yesterday without any schedule of resuming them.  As to adding to what happened, the test by the DPRK might not have been of their weapon, rather it was a test of the Iranian bomb, and if not their bomb, their design.  So, Kim et al aren't defending themselves, they are defending their client's nuclear capabilities and ambition by daring others to do something about it.  And they have a good reason to believe that we won't and can't, because the Israelis have to remove the Iranian threat, directly or through proxies,  and to do something soon or the red line will be topped and it's game over in the Middle East, if it isn't already.

The issue is how far will the Obama administration let this go.  And yes, the options are not nice, not nice at all and it appears that talking, harshly worded letters and sanctions don't matter either.

Then Nuke them...LOL

The most frightening thing is that the population of North Korea is so brain washed or so scared, that they would allow themselves to possibly be destroyed along with their idiotic leaders. Of course the same could be said about a lot of other countries.

They don't allow themselves anything --they aren't allowed anything.  N Korea has more concentration camps then Hitler did.

I tried to send the cartoon itself, but I got the message that there were too many characters.  Nevertheless,  there was a great cartoon by Sack, the Minneapolis StarTribune cartoonist, depicting a B-2 boomer over North Korea with the statement, "Deploy ritalin."  Indeed, it does seem that the North Korean leadership may well be suffering from some form of ADHD.

Only for you...

LOL Only if it helps LOL

Thanks.  How did you do that?  When I tried, I got a message that said "Sorry" and that the file was too large to send.

I don't know, it just went :)
