long-distance runners are strong
in body and mind
WOW, that is wonderful, Thally! Running long distance is tough! And in a world in which many younger people don't want a two-story house because they have to walk up stairs, hahahaha, running half a marathon is an even greater accomplishment. Please congratulate her for me!
I was a sprinter as a kid, so I don't really know what long-distance running takes; but my Draughn ran long distance and he says it takes a special mindset, drive, and will--not to mention amazing endurance.
your birthday today...
i close my eyes and dream you
as you might have been
your blue eyes sparkling
your smile still lighting the room...
