Dear Employees:
As the CEO of this organzation, I have resigned myself to
the fact that Barrack Obama is our Oresident and that our taxes and government
fees will increase in a BIG way. To compensate for these increases, our prices
would have to increase by about 10%. But, since we cannot increase our prices
right now due to the dismal state of the economy, we will have to lay off sixty
employees instead. This has really been bothering me since I believe we are
family here and i did'nt know how to choose who would have to go. So, this is
what I did. I walked through the parking lot and found 60 obama bumper stickers
on our employees cars and have decideed these folks will be the ones to let go.
I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem. They voted for
change....So i gave it to them. I will see the rest of you at the annual company
picnic.

Just an observation, but I think it is largely true: Liberals watch MSNBC and Conservatives watch Fox News.  No, there is nothing profound about that.  But all it does is to reinforce previously formed opinions.  Now, I lean liberal, but don’t generally watch either one.  When I watch one of the national networks, I prefer CNN which, for the most part, simply reports the news as it sees it.  But I get most of my news from printed material, anyway.

There are places to trace what's true, I think any issue you want to be serious about you will find Fox is total BS and MSNBC has the facts, they usually give you the sources.

Look them up and get back to us, you might have egg on your face.

I don't know , I think it's kind of interesting to see what's out there. Listened to a lot of NPR over the years, have yet to listen to Al Jazeera and am not sure if they broadcast in English or not. Huff Post, BBC, NY TIMES, 60 min, CNN, usually out of curiosity to see what I think about what's being said.

I agree, Merry, it would be interesting to check out Al Jazeera.  Just don't know where to start.  Maybe I'll get off this and try to Google it.

Al Jezeera is often on Link TV, several times per day.

Popular Science had a very good article on what the corporate bottom line might be in Afghanistan. It mentioned all the mineral wealth and that China had a contract for all the copper that the country could produce. Have to go back and reread that. I know that there's a global opiate shortage, at least there used to be. And the NYTIMES has had several articles on the impending shortage of food. I'm in survival mode. Romney was a little too much in survival mode too as I'm pretty sure  he had an exit strategy in case all hell breaks loose in America. My point is , I wonder what the hmm is really going on and who's cutting what deals with which country. None of which is on the news for either side of the aisle.
