Lynn, I like that smiling story. We had high winds last night and I am smiling that the old Cottonwood did not fall down.

I truly think the Cottonwoods here on Chris's property are dead.

If they were mine I would have them cut down....

they are surrounding her 1920 farmhouse and a danger to the wires

the one outside my cottage would either fall on her dining room or my roof depending

on the angle it fell....they are way too big for me to fall and I do not have a chainsaw anymore

I love trees but not when placed wrong near a building...I did prune 5 of her trees and bushes

so hopefully they will get air and light to the centers and grow better...but she says she never waters them
