STATUS UPDATE

So here we are looking around, taking a peek... hanging out.

On some thread a bit ago, some one said how annoying the FB was with all the trivial updating goings on.

Personally, I don't think my daily updating is all that interesting but some times I really feel the need to share.  My kitties don't give a whit and the bird...well, he lives in his own world.  His updates would mostly involve "lived another day"..."got some of that shredded stuff again (cheese)"  etc.

Mostly, I have you fine folks to droll on about my meager existence and occasional moments of wonderful.

 

So, here you go...Keep it brief...mundane with a bit of intrigue.

My nieces mom is just now allowed to move back into her home on Seaside NJ. almost 4mos later.  Many folks are much worse off.

It's very cold here but going to be 46 on Tuesday and 23 on Wednesday.  How weird is that...:->

Im glad that yuor family can finley go home Jaylee. My neice and boy freind lost everything. Yuo no the photograph of the rollercoaster in the ocean thats (N.J) on the news regularily? it is right behind there huose.

My sic Bro 10 days withuot power in 30 degree weather- but cuold recieve dialisis scary. I love him. Going to see him agian next week! Happy Dance!!!

I cut down a 13 foot tall cactus in my front yard today. I had two growing side by side, and it was just too much so I trimmed with a pruning saw, while standing on a ladder. And then I got out the chain saw to cut the rest into manageable pieces.

I babied a prickly pear at my previous place.   I'm sorry I didn't filch a bit of it to take to this new place.  It was so cool.

I'm healing nicely where I got a gazillion teenie tiny spines from the cactus. OK, not really a gazillion, but between my hands, arms and belly, probably 30 or 40. And these are so small that you can't pull them out, even with tweezers. You just have wait till the wear away on their own.
